Ms Yi Wen is a graduate of Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Dietetics with Nutrition from International Medical University (IMU). While at IMU, she diligently built a solid understanding of nutritional science and dietetics, showcasing her unwavering dedication to the field.
During her one-year internship, she gained valuable experience in various settings. Initially, she interned as a clinical dietitian at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar (HTJ) and China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) Taichung, focusing on nutrition counseling and evidence-based dietary guidance. She furthered her skills as a food service dietitian at Columbia Asia Puchong Hospital (CAPH) and as a community dietitian at Beacon Premier Wellness. Throughout this internship, she honed her abilities in consultations, authored educational content on osteoarthritis, and organized health talks to promote wellness and awareness.
Embracing the timeless wisdom of Hippocrates, who famously stated, “Let Food Be Thy Medicine and Medicine Be Thy Food,” Ms. Yi Wen, as a dedicated dietitian, aspires to advocate passionately for the transformative potential of nutrition. Her mission is to underscore the vital role of proper nourishment in both disease prevention and treatment, advocating for the healing power of food as a compelling alternative to medications.
