Mr. Tang Xiu Leong graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Dietetics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He had his clinical attachment at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM, where he was trained to involve nutrition care process in cases such as metabolic syndrome, chronic kidney disease, enteral nutrition (tube feeding) and individualized nutrition support.

He was also a community dietitian at a community pharmacy, where he served the people with dietetic knowledge. There, he managed cases such as supplementary food prescription, enteral feed planning, and dietary advice for people living with diabetes mellitus. He also received training in the use of supplements.

In his previous experiences, Mr Tang notices that the public deems nutrition-related topics complicated and strict. Thus, he would apply individualized and practical methods, so that nutrition can be practical and sustainable in daily living.
