Ms. Yi Wen graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Dietetics with Nutrition from International Medical University (IMU). During her tenure at IMU, she immersed herself in the intricacies of nutritional science and dietetics, dedicating countless hours to studying and mastering the subject matter. Her unwavering commitment and passion for the field were evident in her thorough exploration of various nutritional concepts and methodologies, solidifying her foundation in this vital domain of healthcare.
During her one-year internship, Ms Yi Wen gained valuable experience in various settings. Initially, she interned as a clinical dietitian at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar (HTJ) and China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) Taichung, focusing on nutrition counseling and evidence-based dietary guidance. During her internship, she expanded her expertise as a food service dietitian at Columbia Asia Puchong Hospital (CAPH) and as a community dietitian at Beacon Premier Wellness. In these roles, she refined her consultation techniques, developed educational materials focusing on osteoarthritis, and orchestrated health talks aimed at fostering wellness and raising awareness in the community.
